The Spiderweb Defense
PLays against the run: 30% Plays against the pass: 70%
Based on the dime package, this defense covers a lot of ground and is able to cover multiple areas of the field, similar to how a spider web is spread out and catches anything that comes into its area. The six defensive backs can cover a lot of ground and create a lot of coverage options which can confuse the offense.
The Precision Strike Offense
Run plays: 40% Pass Plays: 60%
Based on the West Coast offense, this is a type of offensivescheme that emphasizes on a short, intermediate passing game, precise timing routes, horizontal passing routes, and the use of the running back as a receiver.
